The illustrator: Beverley studied at Falmouth School of Art and Design where she specialised in ceramics, but later returned to painting to create her charming illustrations. She produces her work mainly with acryllics on board and canvas, and is influenced by artists such as Mackenzie Thorpe and Annora Spence, as well as everyday observations from animals, people, the environment and the weather.
