The illustrator: Gemma Correll is particularly known for her “quirky characters in strange situations”, pattern design and hand-drawn typography. She enjoys working in many areas of illustration - from editorial to advertising. Her work is generally hand-drawn and digitally coloured, but she also works with printmaking techniques and collage where appropriate. Gemma has exhibited both in the UK and internationally, including in the US, Belgium and China. She also makes her own products and runs a Norwich-based retail concession called “Cherry Cherry”.
